The two entities are strengthening their ties to promote training and research.
On Wednesday April 10, Institut Polytechnique UniLaSalle welcomed Jean-Philippe Puig, Managing Director of Avril SCA, accompanied by a dozen of the Group's employees, as part of the signing of a partnership agreement between the two structures.
A win-win agreement to promote integration and the discovery of Avril's professions
This partnership will encourage Lasallian students to join Avril for internships, jobs or work-study contracts, while enabling the company to strengthen its employer brand.
Each year, Avril undertakes to take part in recruitment events organized by UniLaSalle, such as AgoraJob and job datings, and to welcome students on company visits. It will also offer at least one study project per year to engineering students as part of their training.
In return, UniLaSalle undertakes to raise the profile of Avril and its internship, job and work-study offers among its students, by highlighting these offers on its JobTeaser platform, inviting testimonials on careers and job opportunities, organizing conferences and setting up visits or immersion days within the company. In addition, the group will benefit from free participation in the AgoraJob Business Forum.
UniLaSalle, a privileged partner for training Avril employees
Ongoing training is a second pillar of the partnership agreement. Avril will benefit from privileged access to the range of inter-company training courses developed by UniLaSalle. The collaboration between the two establishments could even lead to the co-construction of short or long continuing training courses to promote the skills development of the industrialist's employees.
Develop research and innovation, notably through sponsorship initiatives
Avril has been a partner of the Chair for the Mutation of Livestock Production and Societal Issues since 2021. This commitment to UniLaSalle's research teams and to the training of future engineers may be extended in the future to other fields in which the manufacturer is positioned. Agriculture, sustainable livestock farming, adaptation to climate change, bio-sourced materials, the circular economy and digital technology could all be the subject of closer ties between the two entities, notably through the participation or creation of new chairs.
Avril's support for research and training on these forward-looking topics could also be provided through sponsorship initiatives in line with the expectations of both parties, or through the funding of scholarships for students.
A commitment to disability and sustainable development
On February 29, at the Salon International de l'Agriculture, Avril renewed its support for UniLaSalle's Mission Handicap. This commitment is confirmed in the partnership agreement signed today.
This CSR policy will be complemented by the development of a sustainable development program supported by the manufacturer and all Group employees. Avril intends to benefit from UniLaSalle's expertise in this field, the school having launched its Uni4change societal transformation program in September 2022.
At present, Avril welcomes nearly 40 alumni and around 20 interns at its head office and in its subsidiaries.
