Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Plant Breeding

The Master Program in Plant Breeding (emPLANT+), an Erasmus Mundus accredited course of excellence co-constructed by 6 European universities, is dedicated to plant breeding and varietal creation.

The Erasmus Mundus Master Programme in Plant Breeding is dedicated to plant improvement and varietal creation. It will train you in new technologies based on molecular and cellular biology, which you will use to promote higher agricultural yields.

The course covers the entire field of activity of today's plant breeders. This is a field that is very rarely covered in higher education, and this Erasmus Mundus program offers something that is as rare as the demand for it is growing!

The course was designed in partnership with seed companies and the agri-food industry, and is now being run in conjunction with 5 other European universities: Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Hungary), Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden), University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU - Austria) and Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy). It thus combines the excellence of Europe's top universities with a "hands-on" dimension.
