UniLaSalle and the LDC Group formalize a major partnership. Recruitment, inclusion, training and research will be at the heart of this strengthened collaboration.
On Thursday September 12, UniLaSalle Beauvais formalized a new partnership with the LDC Group, a major player in the agri-food industry. Signed by Philippe Choquet, UniLaSalle's General Manager, and Pierre Van Den Bossche, LDC's Director of Human Resources and an alumnus of the school, this collaboration paves the way for enhanced opportunities for students, alumni and employees of both entities.
This partnership is based on several key areas:
- Recruiting and supporting talent: The LDC Group will continue to recruit interns, work-study students and alumni from UniLaSalle, having already welcomed 17 interns over the past five years, and nine work-study contracts in progress.
- Support for Mission Handicap: LDC is committed to supporting UniLaSalle in its inclusion policy.
- Continuing training: A new dynamic is being created for the continuing training of LDC employees, with the support of UniLaSalle.
- Research and development: This partnership also provides for collaboration in research and innovation, reinforcing synergies between the two structures.
With 22 alumni already working for LDC, in a variety of roles ranging from R&D and quality to production and CSR, this signing strengthens an already well-established relationship. Last year, Pierre Van Den Bossche and Philippe Choquet had already shared their expertise with 3ᵉ year students during presentations, and LDC has welcomed several groups of students to its sites for educational visits.
The aim of this partnership is to consolidate existing initiatives, while diversifying actions to raise the Group's profile among UniLaSalle students. Research projects, events and service collaborations are just some of the avenues envisaged for the future.
